Gravity-defying open-world adventure game

Youropa is a premium adventure game for PC by a developer who goes by the name frecle. It's a puzzle-platformer title that tells the story of a quirky character that has awoken to a fragmented world. In it, players will have to restore it to its former state and recover their memories.

Similar to other puzzle adventure games like It Takes Two or Portal 2, Youropa boasts a vast and intricate world to explore. It also employs a unique gravity mechanic that helps characters move around its 360° space, solve puzzles, and overcome its various platforming challenges.

Upside down

The game takes place in the titular Youropa, a floating city in the sky, fragmented and torn apart. In it, you play as You, short for Youropean, a small humanoid with suction cups for appendages. You mysteriously wake up trapped in a tree, with no recollection of who you are or how you got there. You must now explore a world that has literally been flipped upside down.

Given your unique physical characteristics, you're able to defy gravity and walk up any walls and pretty much any surface that your suction cups will adhere to. This ability will come in handy as you tackle a world that is constantly changing with threats that come in the form of platforming challenges, hostile creatures, and hazardous environments. All of this, while dealing with shifting perspectives that test your perception.

What's more, you will be unlocking more than 450 building blocks that you can use to expand the landscape in any way you want or even create your own world that is unique to you. Due to the nature of the game, its changing perspectives and viewpoints might make the experience a little uncomfortable for some players, potentially causing nausea and dizziness—your mileage may vary.

Watch your step

If you're into puzzle platformers, Youropa is one of the more unique, interesting, and intricately-designed ones out there. Its vast 360° world offers a unique experience that will take you on a rollercoaster ride in literally every direction, together with your quirky, yet charming humanoid character, Youropean. It's fun, it's dizzying, and well worth checking out. It’s recommended. However, just watch out for feelings of dizziness.

In Softonic we scan all the files hosted on our platform to assess and avoid any potential harm for your device. Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.

We’d like to highlight that from time to time, we may miss a potentially malicious software program. To continue promising you a malware-free catalog of programs and apps, our team has integrated a Report Software feature in every catalog page that loops your feedback back to us.

Flag any particular issues you may encounter and Softonic will address those concerns as soon as possible.
